Social impact + nonprofit job search support that gives you both clarity and strategy

Finally get the momentum you've been looking for—with immediate workshop access plus coaching to help you land your next right-fit role

Plot twist: Looking for meaningful social impact work is actually harder than applying to any old job.

Who knew?

Okay, you probably knew, since your current resume has likely gone through more iterations than your college thesis… and that took you nine months!

Here's what nobody mentions when you decide to pursue impact work: the job search is legitimately more complex. You're not just asking "Can I do this job?" You're asking "Does this align with my values?" and "Does my previous experience even make sense?" and "How can I do good in the world and have a career I’m proud of and also, you know, pay my bills?”

It's a lot. Social impact hiring works differently than hiring for traditional paths, and most job search advice (and career guidance, for that matter) wasn't designed for this.*

(*Mission-driven work… nonprofit timelines and funding issues… how crucial mission alignment is… how it can feel like your skills don’t exist anywhere else… you know, just to name a few!)

But here's the good news: once you understand how it actually works, it gets way more manageable.

You don’t need to “lean in” more or try harder in your job search.

But it does take a strategic approach!

Old-fashioned job search advice assumes you're climbing a corporate ladder with clear rungs. It's designed for linear career paths, traditional hiring processes, and optimizing for one main thing—usually money or prestige.

But impact hiring is different.

In this world, your experience may not match a job description neatly, and credentials aren’t always straightforward or relevant. (And that’s okay!) You're often building a case for why your experience and your skills translate. You’re trying to show you're committed without sounding naive. Strategic without sounding stuffy. Passionate without seeming like you'll burn out in six months.

Whew

But when you have a strategy for…

  • Getting clear on what you’re good at and genuinely interested in (not just what’s on your resume!)...

  • Talking about your experience in ways that resonate with impact hiring managers…

  • Positioning yourself when your background doesn’t fit neatly into boxes…

  • And building a job search approach that aligns with how impact organizations actually hire…

… you’re prepared to find, stand out for, and land your next role.

The Impact Career Sprint offers strategic, structured job search support for nonprofit and social impact professionals

An 8-week program that combines self-paced workshops with personalized coaching—so you can figure out what you’re looking for, create standout materials, and land the role.

Throughout the Impact Career Sprint, you’ll:

Find clarity on what you're actually looking for.

Not just a vague sense of "I want to do good," but a concrete understanding of where your skills, values, and career goals actually intersect. You'll know how to evaluate opportunities and make decisions that move you toward the career you want—not just the next available job

Develop specific language for what you bring to the table.

You'll understand your strengths (the things you're uncommonly good at and actually like!) and how to articulate that value in ways that resonate with impact hiring managers. No more underselling yourself or struggling to explain why your experience matters!

Create materials that actually work for impact roles.

Wouldn’t it be great to actually enjoy sending out a cover letter and resume you feel proud of, instead of agonizing over them even more? You’ll get prepared with materials that communicate your value, demonstrate your competence and genuine commitment, and connect the dots between your experience and your next impact role.

Implement a job search strategy that actually aligns with impact hiring.

You'll understand how to leverage your network authentically (and non-awkwardly!), where to focus your energy, and how to position yourself when your background doesn't fit neatly into boxes.

And boost your confidence to move forward in a meaningful way.

Not because you've magically eliminated all doubt, but because you have frameworks for navigating ambiguity, talking about your experience, and finding roles that fit you and your goals.

Instead of continuing to spin your wheels, you’ll sprint forward with the clarity you need to make actual progress in your own social impact career.

You’re in good company!

Is the Impact Career Sprint right for you?

You're already working in social impact but navigating a job/career transition (new sector, different role, bigger organization)

You're trying to break into social impact work and need to translate your skills from corporate, academia, or other sectors, and you're not sure how to make that case convincingly

You have an idea of the kind of impact you want to create, but you need help figuring out how that fits with your strengths, skills, and interests

You’re prepared to do the work of implementation (working on your resume, applying to jobs, etc) but you want personalized feedback on your materials and strategy

You're ready to take action but you need the right tools and frameworks to do it effectively

That’s me, I want in!

For 15+ years, I've helped hundreds of professionals leverage their unique strengths, skills, and values into well-aligned impact roles.

The thing about finding your own right-fit in a social impact job is that you’ve got to blend the tactical stuff (here's how to write a resume!) and the self-discovery work (figure out what you want!).

You need to understand yourself and your strengths—what you're uncommonly good at, where you create value, what kind of work actually fits you. That's the internal piece.

And you also need to know how to implement and execute—how to position yourself for impact roles, create materials that work, and navigate hiring processes that look different from corporate recruiting. That's the external piece.

Trying to do one without the other might very well be why you’re stuck! And that’s what the Impact Career Sprint is for. I designed it specifically to help you connect with your strengths, figure out where those translate in the impact world, then build your materials and strategy from there. You get clarity on what you're looking for plus the practical tools to actually land it—because you need both to move forward.

I hope to see you in the program!

Everything else you need to know about the Sprint

  • After you register, you’ll receive the program guide with links to all of the recordings, workbooks, and bonus materials. (You’re able to stream the videos online and download the workbooks.) You’ll also get email reminders, focusing on one module per week for 8 weeks, to help you stay on track!

  • The program is designed with a suggested weekly pacing across 8 weeks, but you can move faster or slower depending on your needs. You get access to all of the videos and workbooks after you register, so you can work through them at your own pace.

  • Your access never expires! The workbooks are downloadable and you have access to all of the linked videos and resources.

  • After you register, you’ll be invited to book your two coaching sessions at times that work for you. Most people schedule their first session (CliftonStrengths interpretation) within the first couple weeks, and the second session (materials feedback) once they've drafted their resume and other materials.

Both sessions must be both scheduled and completed within 6 months of purchase.

  • I always say that any job can be a social impact job, so you don’t need to work at a nonprofit in order to participate in the Sprint! Social impact roles exist in all kinds of sectors and industries, from nonprofits and NGOs to social enterprises and even traditional businesses that have corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

If your role involves trying to create positive change in the world, it qualifies as a social impact job.

  • Nope! Many people come into the program knowing they want to work in social impact but unsure about the specific role or sector. The first few modules are specifically designed to help you get that clarity—figuring out what you're good at, exploring your options, and making decisions when you're weighing multiple variables. You don't need to have it all figured out before you start.

  • This program is most valuable if you're planning to job search within the next few months. The strategies and materials you'll develop are designed for active application. If you're just starting to think about a change and aren't ready to apply to roles yet, you might want to wait until you're closer to taking action—that way everything stays fresh and relevant. Come back when you’re ready, and you’ll get instant access!

  • Not necessarily! This program can support people at different career stages—whether you're making your first intentional career move, switching sectors mid-career, returning to work after a break, or navigating a transition to more senior roles. The strategies are adaptable to your specific situation, and the coaching sessions are personalized to wherever you are in your career.

  • Since you receive instant access to the materials, all sales are final and there are no refunds. If you have a payment plan, you are responsible for completing all payments.

If you have any questions before you decide to enroll, feel free to email me beforehand.
